Chemical Free Garden Center

We are a chemical free garden center -- and have not used chemical pesticides on our plants for almost 10 years. Our healthy plants take care of themselves with a little help from predatory insects that we release -- birds and toads that we encourage -- and a few biological and organic controls.

Organic, Local and Our Own Produce

We sell certified organic produce and produce grown by several local farmers and ourselves using sustainable methods that produce the highest quality food possible. We know that healthy soils produce the best food.

Immunity Builder Salad Mix

Good health starts with a diet rich in leafy greens -- our most nutritious foods. Our Immunity Builder Salad Mix is the freshest, most flavorful, most versatile and nutritious food available. It is made from fresh organic greens every Saturday -- ready at about 2:30 PM.

The Magic of Organics

There really is a world of fairies and dwarfs and elves. The work that is done in this magical world is the foundation for life on earth. It is a world where life is reborn out of the ashes of past generations -- and it can be found right beneath your feet.

Healthy garden soil is a world so complex that we can still only wonder what happens in it. There are more life forms living in a handful of garden soil than there are humans on earth. Imagine their work as they disassemble every bit of the last generation, mine resources from the earth and mix them together to prepare a home for the next generation of life to spring from. They are so important to plants that plants nourish them through secretions from their roots.

When we understand how to nurture this system we fulfill our role of stewards here on earth -- and we are nurtured by it as well.
